How I approach Therapy

Struggling with a life transition, mental health, dependencies, grieving a loss, or feeling overwhelmed can be extremely difficult, and I am here to support you in your journey.  Creating a place where people find healing and encouragement in a nonjudgmental way is essential to your therapy journey. I will approach you with kindness and respect and highlight your strengths and help you utilize tools to take steps towards your goals.   

My passion is working with individuals and family members affected by abuse of any substance, individuals struggling with depression and anxiety, anxiety-related issues, shame and guilt, self-esteem issues, relationship issues, and trauma. Throughout therapy, I utilize evidence-based treatment models including CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness, and solution-focused to help clients reach their goals and full potential. 

I am deeply committed to helping people overcome, heal from trauma, and thrive in the face of mood disorders. You can achieve a purposeful and inspired life.  I’d be honored to walk with you on that journey. 


I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Certified Addiction Counselor (CADC).
