Empowering You with the Right Tools for Change.

One of our deepest longings is to be truly known. It can also feel scary. We want relationships where we can be ourselves and feel cared for without judgment, shame, or criticism. As a therapist, my goal is to come alongside you and help you reconnect with your most authentic self. Together, we will gently peel back layers of hurt, pain, and protective coping so you can move toward peace and connection.

How I Work with You

Many of the strategies we learned while growing up once kept us safe. They shielded us from the hardest parts of life. At some point, those shields can become heavy and unhelpful. Therapy gives us a place to explore them and set down what no longer serves you. I see myself as a fellow traveler. I am not above you. I bring experience walking with people who have carried heavy burdens and are ready to lay some of them down.

My style is compassionate and direct. If something needs to be said, I will say it with care and clarity. I value your time, so I do not circle around important truths. I also welcome humor when it fits. Laughter can offer lightness and relief in the middle of difficult work.

My Approach to Therapy

I use an integrative approach that combines insight and action. We look at the younger parts of you, how they were shaped by hardship, and how they might be running the show today. At the same time, we build practical skills you can use right away.

Modalities I draw from include EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Internal Family Systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution‑Focused strategies, Attachment Based-Therapy, and mindfulness. I do not force a single method. I tailor the work to your needs, goals, and pace.

What To Expect in Sessions

You can expect a warm, nonjudgmental space where your story is honored. We will set clear goals together, explore the patterns that keep you stuck, and practice tools that support daily life. Sessions may include grounding skills, emotion regulation, boundary setting, and gentle reflection on past experiences that still affect the present. We will move at a pace that feels safe. You will always have a voice in what we do.

Who I Work With

I support adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use concerns, and relationship challenges. You may feel that life looks fine on the outside, yet something still feels off inside. Common signs include racing thoughts, trouble sleeping, constant worry, irritability, numbness, or burnout.

You might notice patterns like people‑pleasing, perfectionism, difficulty setting boundaries, or using alcohol or other substances to cope. If family dynamics, grief, or past experiences continue to echo in your present, we will make space to understand them and reduce their hold.

In our work together we identify what is driving your stress, practice skills that calm your nervous system, and build healthy boundaries that protect your time and energy. The aim is change you can feel: more clarity, steadier mood, stronger relationships, and a life that aligns with your values.

Why This Work Matters to Me

I believe healing happens in safe connection. I consider it a privilege to sit with people in hard places and to witness their strength. You do not have to settle for an old normal. Together, we can create a new way of relating to yourself and others that feels honest, grounded, and free.

If this approach resonates with you, I would be honored to walk with you. Reach out to schedule your first session.
